Charger brand
Zaptec
A Norwegian charging manufacturer offering compact socketed home chargers, with model-specific power options and a dedicated UK sales and support operation.
Zaptec’s current UK home range includes Go and Go 2. The UK Go order code covered here is a 7.4kW single-phase unit; Go 2 supports appropriate single- or three-phase installations and adds a MID meter and display. Do not transfer the specifications of a European Go or Go 2 listing to the original UK Go simply because the names are similar. Sources: UK Go and Go 2.
This is a brand overview sourced from Zaptec’s own UK site, not a hands-on assessment of the company - see our editorial standards for what “checked” means on a page like this.
Go 2’s V2G-ready description is a hardware-readiness claim, not a promise of operational vehicle-to-grid charging with every car, tariff or installation. Zaptec Pro serves larger shared charging installations and is outside this home-model comparison.
