Which zappi is covered?

This page covers the screen-equipped UK zappi 2H family. It is separate from the smaller zappi GLO, which replaces the front display with app-led operation and RFID access. Black and white finishes, connection styles and phase options are options within this model family. See the manufacturer’s range.

Choosing power and a cable

The single-phase and three-phase models need different supplies. A 22 kW badge does not make a single-phase home deliver 22 kW, and the car’s onboard AC charger can impose a lower limit. Have the installer confirm the available supply before choosing the order code.

For a regular parking position, the fixed lead avoids retrieving a separate cable. The socketed version lets you remove the lead after charging and choose an appropriate length independently. Measure the actual route around the car, including comfortable slack, rather than the straight-line distance across the driveway.

How the solar modes differ

FAST prioritises charging at the available rate. ECO varies charging with available generation while allowing grid energy; ECO+ can pause when there is insufficient surplus. A scheduled boost provides a way to add grid energy for a planned departure. These are operating choices, not promises of free charging. The operating manual explains the settings and how CT measurements affect them.

Installation and everyday controls

The front screen is useful if you want status and settings at the charger rather than solely on a phone. Remote app functions depend on connectivity and account setup. Discuss the position of the charger, network coverage and the energy-monitoring arrangement together: an otherwise convenient mounting position may make sensing or communications more difficult.

Integrated protection does not replace a complete circuit design. A qualified installer must assess the supply, upstream protection and final configuration against current instructions. This reference page is not a wiring guide.

Understanding the price comparison

The table compares the black tethered UK model ZAPPI-2H07TB-G. Socketed units, three-phase versions, clearance hardware and installation packages are not interchangeable quotations. The figures were checked on the displayed date and can change; ask for a complete installation quotation separately.

Warranty and source checks

myenergi describes a standard three-year warranty and automatic activation when the product connects to its servers. Keep your purchase and installation records, and check the current terms for eligibility and exclusions. We have researched manufacturer documentation; we have not performed a hands-on test.

Compare the myenergi brand and Ohme Home Pro for different approaches to home charging.
