Two connections, one charger family
VEVA comes as an 8 m tethered charger or a socketed charger requiring a separate lead. Marlec’s own shop variation data gives CA-25/04 for tethered and CA-25/08 for socketed; some retailer listings prepend EV-, which is not the exact code shown in Marlec’s shop metadata. The manufacturer advertises 7.4 kW and rounds the technical page’s power figure to 7 kW. Marlec product page; VEVA specifications.
Solar and protection
The supplied measurement clamp needs installing for solar modes and household load balancing. VEVA lists built-in Type A RCD and 6 mA DC detection, while Marlec describes its PEN fault protection. Its app provides schedules, charging history, manual energy price entry and a holiday lock. The optional cellular module is described as forthcoming, so Wi-Fi is the connection to plan around today.
